Winner of Metro magazine's "Shoe Designer of the Year 2009", Kathryn Wilson is New Zealand's most upcoming shoe designer.
A pioneer of kiwi footwear fashion, Kathryn's passion for shoes and design have been the driving force of her success, despite the challenging environment. Any fashion-conscious New Zealand woman will have Kathryn's shoes on her wish list as her reputation lines her up with brands such as Karen Walker, Stolen Girlfriend's Club and Huffer.
All her shoes are hand made from designs inspired from around the world and spanning across vintages. Although aware of seasonal trends set by Europe, she creates something unique, boutique, yet affordable. If Imelda Marcos had seen her designs, her collection would be even larger!
Kathryn is our type of girl - with courage and individuality, she does things her way! So we asked her to design a limited edition shoe for us which we want to share with you. We'll keep you posted on the journey - and be prepared to add some input!
