Rhian is a contemporary electronic artist based in New Zealand's capital city, Wellington. He has a strong local following and an international reputation. His musical style would be best described as "chilled', with beautiful original instrumental compositions which incorporate sonic experiments with the sounds of found objects not usually heard in music, like wine glasses, bowed and tailor made music boxes. Rhian's tracks have featured on the globally famous 'Café Del Mar' series of CDs and numerous downbeat compilations.
We sponsored Rhian's "Standing in Silence" one-off show on 19th June in Wellington. The show features 15 contemporary, classical and electronic musicians performing live to a filmic backdrop of images shot all over the world.

The main inspiration for this composition was taken from the image on his album cover. The photo, taken in Delhi, features a man on a hill pondering life, but don't worry, the music is subliminal enough to chill out to and it is up to you how deep you go!
